These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website alconedo.com, its subdomains, and the services provided by Alconedo s.r.o. (“Alconedo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with its registered office in Prague, Czech Republic.

By accessing or using any part of our websites or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies. If you do not agree to all the Terms, you may not access the website or use any services.

1.3 Changes to Terms

Alconedo reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to this website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Specific Service Terms (Divisional Agreements)

Alconedo operates three distinct divisions, each governed by these General Terms and, specifically, by the following supplemental terms:

2.1 Alconedo Transport (Logistics & Cargo)

  • Nature of Agreement: Services provided by Alconedo Transport are subject to separate, formal contractual agreements (e.g., freight forwarding contracts or specific transport quotes). These separate contracts shall take precedence over these General T&Cs regarding logistics services.

  • Liability: Alconedo’s liability for loss, damage, or delay of cargo is limited as defined in the specific transport contract and/or applicable international conventions (e.g., CMR Convention for road transport).

  • Quotation: All quotes are estimates and are subject to change based on final cargo dimensions, weights, required customs clearance, and fluctuating fuel prices.

2.2 Alconedo Travel (Price Comparison Platform)

  • Nature of Service: Alconedo Travel operates solely as an independent price comparison and aggregation platform. We do not act as an airline, travel agent, hotelier, or booking provider.

  • Booking Finalization: When you click a deal, you are redirected to the website of a third-party service provider (e.g., airline, hotel, or online travel agency) to complete the transaction.

  • Liability: Alconedo is not a party to the booking contract. We are not responsible for the accuracy of pricing displayed by third parties, the quality of services provided, booking changes, cancellations, refunds, or payment disputes. All such issues must be resolved directly with the third-party provider.

2.3 Alconedo Taxi (Urban Mobility App)

  • Nature of Service: Alconedo Taxi provides a technology platform that connects users with independent, third-party drivers or courier services.

  • Driver Status: Drivers are typically independent contractors or employees of third-party fleet owners, not employees of Alconedo s.r.o.

  • App Usage: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring the accuracy of ride/delivery information.

  • Disputes: Disputes related to ride quality, driver conduct, or vehicle condition are handled in accordance with the specific Alconedo Taxi app user agreement.

3. General Use of Website and Services

3.1 Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality, including logos (e.g., the Alconedo logo), text, graphics, and software, are and will remain the exclusive property of Alconedo s.r.o.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the site: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations; (d) to infringe upon our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.

3.3 Accuracy of Information

We attempt to ensure the information on our sites (excluding third-party content on Alconedo Travel) is accurate, but we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information for any particular purpose.

4. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

4.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the service is at your sole risk. The services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Alconedo expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

4.2 Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Alconedo s.r.o., its directors, employees, affiliates, agents, or contractors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Prague, Czech Republic.
